A well meaning but misfiring album that neither satisfies any straight-up techno cravings one might have nor sufficiently impresses with its IDM quirks and twitches. Many of the best tracks, such as Trental400/5, exhaust their welcome so that by the end any accumulated goodwill is burnt up on endurance. Individual passages are excellent, others are lost in amongst unremarkable stretches. Momentum is lost by the barely audible stretches of quiet electronics which are too short take seriously and too gentle to bother listening to, making the first half of the album a difficult, unrewarding listen.

Overall, Jiri.Ceiver's chops are impressive but ultimately poorly deployed.
