"The Mole" is a track that changed my life and 17 years later remains etched in my memory as one of the all-time great techno tracks. This is a record that I bought every time I saw it and played in sets every time I got the chance. I'm not sure if Joel Mull ever reached the heights that he achieved with "The Mole", but I kept buying his records, no questions asked, for years after hearing this.

Very loopy but very nice oldskool tribal techno. Fossil and The Mole are 2 classics now. It has the typical Joel Mull sound to it, sweet basslines and some cool synths. Afrokid tends to sound a lot like fossil, but it's not as good.
