Lisa Stansfield - People Hold On. The Acapella has been used in a lot of tracks over the years

This record is a mighty example of the power of Joey Beltram.

There are records that might get the odd handbag swinging wallflower to twitch anorexically at a trendy club for a scant few seconds before scurrying off to the bathroom to snort a line of cocaine to prop itself up through yet another night of socially approved house music. Then there were records of mass destruction that left behind smouldering, devastated ruins of what were once dance floors with lines of confused but smiling ravers wondering what the fuck just happened.

This was one of those records. One of Beltram's finest R&S moments. A true machine.
