Other than "In The Mouth Of Madness," I'd say this pressing sounds great. "In The Mouth Of Madness," sounds like bad mixing to me - muddy. I'm underwhelmed by this release overall and agree with the other reviewer that I would much rather have the originals, particularly In The Mouth Of Madness. The rest of the songs sound fine but they lack the...magic? of the originals. I dunno - just left me wanting to hear the originals. I imagine seeing Carpenter's band is different.

My copy has a slight warp too...ugh. Good thing this came with a download card.

While I do love the new work Carpenter has done, it would be so much better to have the original recordings of these amazing pieces reissued! A Halloween reissue with the original artwork, or the Fog? Simple, 1LP releases that are well mastered, pressed and presented. I'd buy 20!!!
