I could swear this is heavier than 180 gram -- it just feels heavier in the hand than some of my other 180 gram LPs. Just wondering if anyone else thinks this could be heavier? Cheers.

This is a great reissue for a very deserving album. 180 gram vinyl with a gatefold sleeve. Inside contains John's poem and it just looks better on the big vinyl sleeve. A Love Supreme ranks up there as the most widely purchased jazz album of all time, and rightfully so. Acknowledgement starts off with the simply 4 note string, which sticks in your head right away and you can clearly hear the music say A Love Supreme a well, which then the vocals come in soon to confirm it. John then comes in with very subtle saxophone and it simply sets the tone for the rest of the album. Resolution is great but probably my least favorite part on here. Persuance opens up with a great drum solo and the track is very upbeat and modal. There are some of the best piano solos by McCoy Tyner on this part as well. Simply love it. My favorite part overall on this awesome album. Psalm is a perfect peice as well ending the album with a slow movement that just makes you want to put the record on again as soon as it's over.
