I was reticent of another collection of "old standard" Christmas songs, but this album is refreshingly nostalgic (there's an oxymoron for you!) But I can picture a TV special with a big band, tuxes, and Olivia and John in top form! Love it! Yes, I would have preferfed some originals up to the standard of Olivia's "Christmas Wish," but this is the next best thing, and better than the last Christmas release, with the "other" John!

Personally, I despair over Olivia's choices of her Christmas duets, both the material and her co-stars. Being older doesn't mean MOR, but Farhnam is nothing but that. If Livvy wants to sing these songs, I'd gladly buy it but can you just sing them solo because you deserve a hell lot more, and better than this combination.
