this is a great album but the mastering on the original is kind of shoddy, how does the remaster from 2017 sound?

Almost $60 USD (about 45 base price) with shipping directly from the distributor for the vinyl pre-order. Seems a bit steep. Amazing album but when you're getting rinsed at retail like this, I can't do it.

Would love to see this on vinyl one day.

In my humble opinion it may be the crowning achievement in an astounding body of work that includes masterpieces like Curtains, The Empyrean, Shadows Collide With People and Smile From the Streets You Hold.

Johnny Boy back on form! =O)
I have a live bootleg recording from around this period when he was touring to support the album.
The bootleg is from The Borderline club in London, UK. Sunday 28th January 2001... and I managed to meet him afterwards too! Very nice guy, obliging to our photos and autographs... He was supposedly sober around this time, but he was way out of his skull when I met him! (though admittedly, probably NOT on crack or heroin. Definitely something though!)
Oh, let me know should you like a copy of the bootleg, I ask you payment just for the cd and postage, no money making out of this. He played a few covers - Modern Love by David Bowie, Big Take-Over by Bad Brains (excellent!) and something else I can't recall now.
