I like the sound of flutes, and I like flutes (and recorders) combined with modern electrical instruments, like some of the stuff by Richard Harvey on KPM (not to mention real flute heroes like Björn J:son Lindh). But this album fails completely because of a synthesizer with an especially unappealing sound that creeps into all the tracks, on an otherwise good-sounding album (an ARP or moog, I don't know…) And the tunes themselves are not interesting enough to save the day.
