As pointed out below, there aren't any of the songs featured in the film on this version. Which is a shame, as they were on the Original Soundtrack and ARE in the movie, so it is not complete. You will have to pick up the Saturn Records release to get the songs, which IMHO are quite good.

From the photos above I see the same problem I have with my heavier javcket Waxwork releases...I have very little heavy jacket releases that aren't split on top. It's a big problem that needs to be addressed with the continuance of these 60$ and up releases. Other than that, my vinyl plays fine and quiet.

Original and stylish. Wish he would have not used electronic drums for fills …..but minor quibble. Some of it had almost a little bit of a pop feel, an then Caribbean. It definitely has an 80s sound, but not so much that it loses uniqueness. Nothing scary or dark as some descriptions claim, but certainly entertaining. Grade A-

Awesome soundtrack by John Harrison. I feel this one more inspired than his work for Crepshow thus I like it too.
There is something special in this one, some repetead synth patterns and percussions at certain times that take you away for the horror and bring you to some kind of dreamy (may I say funky...) escapism for a few bars. Indeed it is related to the movie script, but it makes you appreciate the whole score on itself more easily than the more intense ones from the genre.
A beautiful soundtrack and one of my favorites.

Who would have thought synth could get this intense? Brilliant!

My copy sounds excellent. No surface noise at all that I noticed. Just the deep, full sounds of synthesizers.

Have, and love, the original Saturn records release. However, that was truncated whereas this contains the entire score and what a score it is! Highly engaging throughout, even though running over a hour and spread across four sides of vinyl. My love and appreciation for this score has only grown in significance and this definitive release sounds fantastic! Well worth the $$
