Recorded Live in San Francisco, November 2, 3, 8, & 10, 1962.
2-On-1 Gatefold LP Compilation.
Record One originally released on Galaxy LP #8205 in 1962 as "Live At Sugar Hill".
Material on Record Two released for the first time on this compilation.
In 1990, "Live At Sugar Hill" was reissued on Ace #CH 287 and Record Two as Ace #CH 298 "Live At Sugar Hill - Volume 2".
Songwriting credits on "Night Time Is The Right Time" are listed as Van Dyke, which could be either a mis-credit or a pseudonym for either Herman Lubinsky or Nappy Brown. John Lee Hooker's co-writing credits on "T. B. Is Killing Me" are listed as Kelly, which could be a pseudonym for Bernard Besman.
Etched matrix numbers have additional markings compared with the other version of this release. It is assumed, therefore, that this is a repress. Year unknown.
This version has brown Fantasy labels. The other version has blue and white labels.
