I was lucky enough to get a copy of this when it first came out. Been a long time fan of Prine.  MEllODrOnE is correct about this being a brilliant pressing. Very quiet vinyl. I thought the vocals were just fine IMO. I had the original back in the day and this repress is just as good. In any case it's a joy to listen to and recommend everyone try and find a copy. Let's just say it's worth it.

A great sounding pressing of a great album. Unfortunately the initial run of this sold out quickly and now prices have risen substantially on the secondary market. If you want one I would probably hold out, as Rhino/Warner has been known to press additional runs of records like this.

Brilliant press. The sound is bold and full, rich and warm, just like good 'ol KG does on his remasters. Acoustic guitar sounds quite nice, vocals sound natural, nice detail on the background instruments too. This reissue sounds great. If I have any complaint it's I wish the vocals were a little louder and given more prescence in the mix, on some songs. Very happy to have a nice, quiet, clean copy of this record that sounds this pleasant. 9/10. "Pretty Good" is the treat here, with its rockin bass line and boogie piano, a definite rocker, sounds spectacular.

I picked this up yesterday, but was hoping to hear some review before cracking it open. How does it sound? I have a pretty good original pressing, but it is a bit crackly. Is this going to be worth getting?
