so this:

looks like a "pimped up" version of the B&F release. I assume that Steve Barrow (who to my knowledge is in charge of the re-releases at VP Records/North Parade) updating his legacy. Nice :-)

If you like Roots Reggae that is soulful, funky and rocks at the same time, then look no further than Johnny Clarke and this awesome compilation. All the tracks on this album come from the later half of the 70s, the peak of Roots Reggae and the majority of them were produced by Bunny Lee and mixed by the legendary King Tubby. Infact there are some awesome extended Disco mixes where the man Tubby works his magic. Johnny Clarke is a fantastic vocalist and his vocal tracks are some of the best Jamaican Rastafarian dubplates around. This compilation showcases a fantastic reggae vocalist at the peak of his powers.
