Really strange how every version of this is available on YouTube except the original - in my opinion, no one bettered it) - and can't find the flip side, which merits just as much attention. Lucky I have it nestled away in one of my boxes ;)
Used to love mixing the intro into my sets with the echo effect on and just letting it go on and on with the Bad Boy Sound sample swirling through the other tracks.

Suburban Base release many of the historical jungle classics, and it's the case of this single, which track 'Killa Sound', was a real jungle storm. The original version is a very bad boy sound, typical of the gangsta culture of the Jungle era, with many female vocals samples in different speeds.
'What's on your mind' was considered a breaking point, for it was more derived from Soul than Ragga with sweet female vocals, suggesting a new moment on the breakbeat scene, when the esthethic of Drum & Bass started to take the place of Jungle.
