Excellent pressing, almost no surface noise. On par with my pressing of Immunity which might be the best sounding record I own.

A really solid album, beautiful soaring melodies equipped with perfectly chilled out beats.
The only criticism I have is that he hasn't used a lot of range with his instruments/samples so the album ends up being a little 'samey'.

Hmm

Heard alot of good stuff about this CD, there are glowing reviews on amazon. Ultimately I found it pretty disappointing. Jon Hopkins, I read, went to the Royal Academy of Music but if he learned anything really interesting there, i dont think it shows on this CD. Yes, it's all compentently written chill-out-electronic-ambient tunage. Yes, it's all very unthreatening and, if it hasn't been already, you will probably hear tunes from it used as backing music for some documentary or advert or something. But really, it's not that interesting. It reminded me of 1990s ambient-dub with better production and less excitement. Frankly IMO you are better off getting some original 1990s ambient-dub such as The Higher Intelligence Agency, Sounds from the Ground, Adham Shaikh

This is a masterpiece.
There are tracks on here that will make the hairs on your back stand up as its quite haunting in parts like 'Elegiac' which opens the album and the stunning 'Inner Peace'...but my favourite track is 'Cold Out There'.
Pure emotions, pure genius.
