As Dav_12002 says beneth: "half the album sounds like you are on a euphoric trip into wonderland!"
Indeed. It is extremly euphoric and cheerful, it feels like you're on a rave in The Care Bears' land, or something:).
Risky move. For some people it can sound too kitchy.
In my opinion though Mr. L is balancing well on the edge of cheesiness, and all those tunes sounds great!
Also to save the balance in the nature, the other half of the album is more in techy style, but in Jonny L's unique way, it has nothing to do with modern neuro, etc. It may remind you of Sawtooth or Magnetic.
We have some tribute to the oldschool aswell. Classic jungle on "Remember" or "Stars" heavly inspired with oldschool hardcore sounds à la early Prodigy.

Awesome album!

The return of Jonny L & i could not be happier. Strangely enough i emailed Bcee of Spearhead records a month prior to release asking him about a new Jonny L release and he gave me the news of the impending LP! It certainly felt like Christmas.

Well gladly the lp is superb, i absolutely love it. It is nothing like 'Magnetic' or 'Sawtooth' but more of an uplifting 'manga' movie style soundtrack! The vocals are by Jonny L himself and half the album sounds like you are on a euphoric trip into wonderland!

My personal favs are the acid old skool vibes of 'Stars', The amazing hands in the air 'Step up' and the classic jungle vibes of 'Remember'.
You get some darker sounds like 'Dub' which reminds me of 'S4' from 'Sawtooth', The heavy 'Bass break' and M45 which is militant.

All i can say is give it a go, you might be pleasantly surprised and support a legend who has given so much to a loved scene. And special thanks to Bcee for making this happen.
