Undertow was composed in 2007 in the composer’s studio and was premiered on June 2, 2007 at Place des Terreaux in Lyon (France) as part of the choreographic project Océan Cité by Compagnie Pierre Deloche Danse. It was commissioned by the Compagnie Pierre Deloche for Océan Cité which also involved composers Bernard Fort, Magdalena Dlugosz, James Giroudon, and Jean-François Estager. Thanks to Martin Clarke for additional sea recordings from the Shetland Islands (Scotland, UK).

ReCycle was premiered in its complete form as a series of 4 works on May 25, 2007 during the Klangfest festival produced by BEAST at the CBSO Centre in Birmingham (UK).
Rock ’n’ Roll was composed in 2004 in the composer’s studio and in the Electroacoustic Music Studios of the University of Birmingham (UK) was premiered on June 12, 2004 at the Sonic Arts Network Conference in Leicester (UK). Thanks to Pete Batchelor for special adaptations of his Max patches.

Internal Combustion was composed in 2005-06 in the composer’s studio and the Elektronisches Studio of the Musik-Akademie in Basel (Switzerland), and was premiered on November 17, 2006 at the Tinguely Museum in Basel (Switzerland). Thanks to the University of Birmingham and to the Arts and the Humanities Research Council (UK) for Study Leave support; to Erik Oña for the invitation to Basel; to the Bartels Foundation for a residency in the Atelier Zum Kleinen Markgräflerhof (Basel, Switzerland); to Pete Batchelor and Daniel Barreiro for Max patches; to Keith Moule and Paul Rodmell for putting their vehicles at risk by allowing me to attach accelerometers to the engines.

Free Fall was composed in 2006 in the composer’s studio and the Elektronisches Studio of the Musik-Akademie in Basel (Switzerland), and was revised and re-mixed in the Studio Métamorphoses d’Orphée of Musiques & Recherches in Ohain (Belgium). The piece was premiered on October 20, 2006 during the destival L’Espace du son in Brussels (Belgium). Thanks to the University of Birmingham and to the Arts and the Humanities Research Council (UK) for Study Leave support; to Erik Oña for the invitation to Basel and for the Max spatialization patch which allowed the achievement of most of the motion trajectories in the piece; to Pete Batchelor and Daniel Barreiro for further Max patches; to the Bartels Foundation for a residency in the Atelier Zum Kleinen Markgräflerhof (Basel, Switzerland); to Annette Vande Gorne for the residency at Musiques & Recherches (Ohain, Belgium).

Streams was composed in 1999 in the Electroacoustic Music Studios of The University of Birmingham (UK) and was premiered on May 4, 1999 in Queen’s University’s Harty Room during the Sonorities Festival (Belfast, Northern Ireland). The piece was commissioned by the Sonorities Festival with funds from the National Lottery and Sonorities.

Afterthoughts was composed in 2007 in the composer’s studio and premiered on November 3, 2007 during the MANTIS Festival 2007: Novars Launch in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall of the Martin Harris Centre of The University of Manchester (England, UK).
