Fantastic pressing. The package, while it has beautiful art work and the card used for the gatefold is very sturdy, does leave something to be desired for what was meant to be a very special release. No liner notes, a 10"(?!) printed insert, and well, that's it. No little stickers, no download card, nothing particularly special as an extra.

Oh well! The record itself, like I said, is a fantastic pressing. Not a pop or crack to be found. The sleeve it comes with uses an attached clear poly lining - and that's always appreciated.

This just came in the mail. The packaging, as per usual by now with Waxwork, is great. I think maybe they should have splurged a bit more and made the front cover "raised" where the branches are, so that you could feel them. I also think a printed liner notes version of the "book of dead" would have been awesome to include. Still, this is pretty cool. I'm a bit underwhelmed by the "Ash" variant. It's ok...but I would have been happier with a blood spatter one, vortex gray, forest wood brown, rusty chainsaw red, etc. or simply just plain old black. Surprisingly there's little to no surface noise on this release - so that's a pleasant surprise. I would have enjoyed some snippets of dialogue from the film though, as this one has some killer lines in it. All in all, great release and I'm glad I picked it up.
