Unknown Pleasures is my favourite ever album because its the sound of a band playing fantastic music which sounds so tight, Steve's drums synching with the throbbing, driving bass of Peter Hook and Bernard's guitar. On top of which is Ian Curtis vocal performance. This was all brought together under the wonderful production of Martin Hannett. For me this was the first classic post punk album. No filler.
