I was surprised (and a bit miffed) to find a nice copy of this old Janus pressing, only to realize when I got home that this version omits "Prelude." Maybe it's common knowledge that Janus inexplicably left "Prelude" off, but I honestly didn't know until I put this thing on the turntable and it kicked off with "Tyrant." So, for that reason, I'm sticking with the later Ovation copy.

this is a very nice early us pressing of this classic lp from 1976, this was released on the small janus label back in 1976 and not many of these where printed as judas priest where pretty unknown in the us back in 76, the thing that makes this record unique is the original us label as this was the very first judas priest record EVER released in the us as per 1976..........

This must be the only version that omits the track "Prelude"
