I am so glad to come across a fine copy of this vintage album. Bought 33 years ago back when it was released in Germany via the Brain Label in 1974 (original release first in 1971 already in Finland) it belonged to the first Fusion records i owned and the one liked most for quite a while. As usual back in the days i bought this LP because of the looks, There was not that many shops where you could listen to LP's and of course there was no world wide web and only very few music magazines. So Label (Brain) and Looks were what attracted customers to new and unknown artists. This guy with the long hair and stoned Look seemed interesting enough to give him a try. The Music was different from what i expected but fresh and exciting. I lost most of my records i bought in the 70ies during the eighties and try to get hold of the best since 10 years or so. This album was hard to get. So i am happy being able to listen to it again. Sound Quality is stunning and the guitar and Saxophone sound brilliant, same goes for the arrangements. On point, melodic even when the sessions gets a bit confusing, there still is a fine line to follow. A Fine balance betwen quiet acoustic an modic moments and electric upbeat and loud passages. Folk with a scandinavian mellow vibe, good Rock Feel (like Led Zeppelin) and nuff Jazz-Rock portions reminding of weather eport or Miles Davis. I wonder that there is no Flzte listed; sincce the sax sounds more like a flute on a couple trax, than a brass instrument. Highly recommmended, although hard to get.
