The second single of Jungleism Monkeys features of course again the beauty of breakbeats, combined with a simple but yet brilliant melody, topped off with a nice piano line. Mix that and spice it up with some samples, voilà a raving breakbeat tune is born.

JiM is definitely my favorite breakbeat project and not just because it's a local band of mine but because they knew how to combine styles and create their own one. The majority of their songs immediately create a good mood, so did this. The, again and again, good sounding lead synth just never get's old and creates this golden 90s feeling. I recommend the LP-Version as it is more straightforward JiM style, however, the Single Mix has its advantages too. The biggest drawback is actually the fact that there is no extended version of it.

A word to the B-side "Moment In Life" which is only available on this CD. A chilling beat and a dreamy melody turn into a JiM classic after 1:18 min. Not as good as "Black Out" but much more creative than other B-sides I've heard in my life. As in all releases of JiM, this CD ends with a "Sample Library" which was a joy for every ambitious home musician at that time.
