I've become a big fan of this remix comp. Well known Psy-proggers Perfect Stranger, Ace Ventura and Dino Psaras make appearances and are surprisingly fitting remixers for the Juno Reactor sound, which is not always that easy to mix as a DJ. Personally, I often want to throw down a JR track when things are getting a little intense, but usually hold back because of how "full" the tracks are and not always designed for mixing in my kinds of sets. These three producers, though, turn in very dancefloor worthy remixes that would fit into just about any progressive, psy or hybrid techno mix and I'm very excited to try them out. Speaking of techno, T.P. Heckmann tears it up on his Mona Lisa Overdrive mix - don't forget this guy produced hard trance before his techno days! Another great remixer for this project. But if I had to pick a favorite, it's the closing track, the Jayant remix of Navras. What a slab of psytrance. Expertly assembled, very clever transitions and suits the dark Juno Reactor sound perfectly. Ironically the only track I wasn't a big fan of was Ubar Tmar's Hotaka remix, but that's mainly because I really don't care for the original either. Some lesser known names and a previously unreleased JR remix rounds out the disc. Overall I'd give this a 4.5 out of 5 and I'm sure these progressive/psy/techy remixes will find their way into many DJ sets in the future - I know they've made it into mine already!
