Tiesto and De Goeij's 'Kamaya Painters' pseudonym has certainly been a pretty class act release-wise, although a good chunk of the releases we all know and love are remixes by other people; Chab on 'Wasteland' and Albion (Mr. Corsten) on 'Endless Wave' for example.

'Far From Over' is no different. Whilst the original mix is fairly average and not really worthy of your full attention, the Oliver Leib remix is simply staggering. It is a masterclass in keeping things simple for maximum effect. No major bells or whistles to be found here, this is pure beats and melody business, but what a melody it is! The track chugs along with a slightly tribal feel to begin with, then after a few minutes the breakdown arrives, mesmerising the listener with pure emotional bliss...you'd have to be heartless not to feel something from this track. Likewise, the Wavestate remix is better than the original, although still very far short of coming near the Leib mix.

An essential record for the trance or progressive fan alike. Buy on sight.
