The Danish band Kashmir from Copenhagen may be not so very familiar in Netherlands, in home country Denmark can hardly bigger fame, with platinum album sales, sold-out tours and various awards. In particular, the album The Good Life (1999), in which Netherlands Mom In Love, Daddy In Space an alternative radio hit & was, was very successful. Kasper Eistrup band seems on Zitilites, Henrik Lindstrand, Asger Techau and Mads Tune to have chosen for the same musical mountain path as that with which their countrymen Saybia also abroad very successful bleaching: emotional, intense guitar-pop, with influences such as Coldplay and Radiohead in particular is never far away. Nevertheless, it would not be fair to judge, because the only Kashmir songs by singer/guitarist Eistrup are just very beautiful. In Denmark came the album Zitilites lists within and within a week was already gold. In Netherlands this will not happen quickly, but some success has surely earned Kashmir: just listen to ramparts, The Push or Rocket Brothers.
