The Signum remix of "Escape" is a true beauty. It builds and builds using half of the main riff with a very strong groove. It then filters down and before you know it, BOOM the whole bleepy riff comes into play with some of those sweet, sweet Signum pads that they used in the ATB "9pm" and Alice Deejay "Better Off Alone" breakdowns.

One thing that stood out on the Signum productions of 1999, was the nice offbeat bass, nice kicks drums, great synth riffs and some groove laden hi hats. Their old tracks zipped along very nicely - Trance with a groove that put most house records to shame.

I heard Scott Bond play this eons ago at Bakers in Birmingham (i think it was at the start of 1999 or something similar), and have loved this track ever since.
