Kenny enters the folk tune world with a wallop! Here are six numbers, entirely different from what he's done before, and comparing more than favourably with the best overseas versions.
The young lad, still not twenty, has come a long way in the two years since he left his home town in Horsham, to try his luck in show business. In that time he has climbed to become one of the four biggest names in his field of music.
Travelling with the Celebrity Revue Co. as star of the show, he appears in six different towns a week (aptly named "The Singing wanderer"). He says: "It means a lot of travelling, but I'm really getting to meet the people of our country." He just likes talking to - yes - you who are reading this.
Incidentally, on the tune "Marianne," he is singing with himself. This is known as a multiple recording.
