The sound is indeed gorgeous as well as the pressing. Now the mix coud have increased the bass solo parts on both Kenny Burrell's blues compositions. When the solo parts come in I have to increase the volume. Other than that nothing to say.

Agree with the other comments. These tone poet releases are phenomenal. Still crazy to think that the source material goes back to 1956 in RVG's parent's living room... And it sounds this good

This was long overdue a reissue and I'm glad it got a Tone Poet treatment. Sounds great, plays dead quiet aside from maybe three or four quiet ticks in total. But even the run-in wax is dead silent... a very rare occurrence in records being pressed these days. Record is pressed flat (which unfortunately wasn't the case for my Cornbread Tone Poet pressing) and sounds fantastic. The guitar and congas shine in particular with excellent clarity.
