I remember the plastic wrap sticker and marketing inlay called this part of the 'Artificial Intelligence' series though it doesn't say that anywhere on the record cover itself.

Kenny Larkin is one of my favorite Detroit Techno artists and I really enjoy this album. That said, I don't think it's his best work because he really hit his stride on his next two LPs ("Metaphor" and Dark Comedy's "Seven Days"). The style on this LP is smooth, melodic, and a little busy with the percussion. Spacey and funky at the same time. It's fitting that it came out on Warp because it's more of a cohesive home listening album than a collection of all out dancefloor stompers. Some of the more upbeat tracks would definitely work fine in a DJ set.

The best (IMHO) Detroit techno LP ever. Genius, and Eons ahead of its time, it is still in heavy rotation and amazingly doesn't get old. It drifts effortlessly from straight ahead four to the floor to spaced out acid synth splashed joy. While so many records fall flat in 12 minutes, 12 days, or if yer lucky 12 weeks, this bitch clocks in at 12 years and is still as fresh as the day you peeled back the plasticine in 1994. 10 outta 10, all-time great, just find it and play it!

No words to describe this fantastic amount of notes sequences and synth pads in 'Q' - you literally plunge into the music! The deep chords, the melodies...everything seems to create a synergic atmosphere. Unfortunately, it's pretty uncommon to hear such well-conceived techno tracks these days...

This is the absolut Advanced Techno Album Back in the Day.
So much that only 400 were sold in France!
Now considered as the best Larkin release wich shows how he is like Carl Craig one of the most 90's creative producers.
Some Tracks are Floors Classic, dedicated in famous DJ mix by Laurent Garnier or Stacey Pullen.. Other ispired Tracks are So Marvellous - MY TRAVELS - and emotive!!!
DETROIT at his best effect.

One of the finest Detroit techno LP's to date. Smooth, spacey synths and rhythms with a touch of funky flavor. A true defining album of Detroit techno from the mid-90's.

Classic Detroit techno from a producer known for his achingly beautiful techno sounds. I feel extremely fortunate to own this rare peice of techno history. A brilliant work of art!
