Pop Plus One (the store that sells Kevin Gilbert estate releases) lists on their site a 2008 remaster of The Shaming of the True that is out of print. I am 90% sure I own this release, however something is amiss with the catalog number. The catalog number on mine is KMG 3, which is the same as the original 1999 release, but Pop Plus One lists KMG 004 as the catalog number for the 2008 re-release. Mine has a 24 page booklet, but nowhere does it mention it being a remaster (the release date says 2000).

I looked on Discogs, but there is no 2008 remaster of Shaming listed. The matrix codes on the inner ring of my CD do not match what is posted for the original KMG 3 release. Mine are as follows:

(printed backwards)

THESHAMINGOF Z8603E GROOVEHOUSE 4446

So, do I have the 2008 remaster, and if so, why is the catalog number printed as KMG 3 on the tray card (KMG 003 on the disc), and not KMG 004 as it says on Pop Plus One? Enquiring minds want to know.
