The Macedonian label Logos Recordings, loyal to its tradition, offers yet another album by a young talent, Kid Whisky. This young Belgian artist started music at an early age. Indeed, since the age of 5, he started playing classical piano. Over time, he shifts his focus increasingly to composition of jazz and improvisation before discovering electronic music in the legendary events “Made in Brussels”.

Earlier this new decade, he was intensely involved in composition and ventures to different styles from House and acoustic-based. It is through this “freestyle” that his creations can be better defined. Spotted by the team of the website during a contest “Young Producer”, he will be selected to appear with a first track on the compilation Logos Volume 2 released last fall. Following this selection and receiving positive feedback on the song “Emily”, Logos Recordings wants to continue working with this young artist and thus has to edit his debut album, Room.

Album impossible to categorize into a genre due to the fact that Kid Whisky has integrated his multiple universes. Subtle mixing between electro acoustic, hip-hop, house, jazz and electronic music, the album takes the way of explosion of various colors but complementary like a painting by Impressionist masters. Full of surprises, effects, bass, swinging times and variable rhythms, this album is a highly personal representation of the musical universe of the artist. Listening to this album is the beginning of a journey full of emotions that will leave no one indifferent…
