For some odd reason, Killing Joke has released a number of psy-intensive remixes over the years. On this e.p. Stations of the Sun will quickly stand out being remixed by the "master", Hallucinogen. The sound is very much in keeping with Twisted era Hallucinogen. Hallucinogen has of coursed released better tracks, but when Simon Posford is involved, the quality level is always very high so fans of the old sound can't really go wrong here. The Dragonfly Mix of Pandemonium is remixed by none other than Man With No Name and again, the MWNN sound is all over it. This mix is actually pretty minimal for its time and while sounding like MWNN, it doesn't have the huge MWNN melodies that filled his music during that period.

The Back To Orion mix of Millenium is also created to Hallucinogen, however this mix isn't listed on the Hallucinogen discography, and it sure doesn't really sound like Hallucinogen outside of a few bits here and there. If anything thing it reminds me of Juno Reactor. Regardless, once it starts up, it is a fairly decent remix in the old goa vein. Intellect (Mandra Gora remix) closes off the e.p. and the style is, again, old school. All told, while the Hallucinogen remix is the highlight of the e.p., the remaining mixes are close in quality and similar in vibe, making this a rare remix e.p. that is actually cohesive in sound and vibe. Good stuff for fans of the old goa sounds.
