The sample on Borg Destroyer ("Every nuance, smell, sound ... perfect accuracy.") comes from an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation, titled "Future Imperfect" (Season 4, Episode 8).

I would slightly disagree with the reviewer below, only in the sense that I think this is a solid two-track release; I don't think either track is significantly inferior to the other. In fact, when Impossible Trigger finally gets going in earnest (admittedly, a couple minutes into the track), it is perhaps the better of the two (at least to my ears and brain, anyway). Don't get me wrong, though; Borg Destroyer is a very good acid trance number, with delightful 303 riffs and some ethereal vocals (I think from Whoopie Goldberg in Star Trek).

Anyway, pick up a copy of this release, especially if you like driving acid trance in the vein of Commander Tom and the Noom catalog. Really good stuff here.

OK, Impossible Trigger is the A side but, as often seen, isn't always the killer track - that, hands down, belongs to 'Borg Destroyer'. I originally used this in a 1996 demo that was lifted straight from a pirate radio station live mix - the feedback was pretty straightforward - play this again & again & again! I'm not one for describing a tune in terms that musos understand to be honest but the punters definitely called this one euphoric despite the techno undertones. I'd be inclined to agree - underrated classic!
