This is an excellent record for Crimson fans new and old. You get a stellar selection of songs here. There isn't a boring moment on this 2xLP which includes some great tracks: I Talk To The Wind, Moonchild, Red and In The Court of the Crimson King. It contains a variety of King's more accessible content with some really nice instrumental stuff thrown in there. And boy does this album sound magical. Super hi-def, rich analog sound with defined bass, punchy drums and a beautiful midrange. The King sounds really good here. The pressing is flawless, with absolutely no surface noise which is optimal on an album such as this with many extensive quiet passages. Comes in a thick stock gatefold with poly lined inner sleeves.
