Cool weird record that gets better with every listen. Some great textures and interesting stuff going on. My pressing sounds great. There are some samples where you hear “surface noise” but it’s there on purpose. Maybe that’s what others talking about?

A terrific album from a very talented young musician. Pressing is of good quality. Download card is included.

This is an interesting rock-jazz album. Dark meandering tunes with rain-streaked blasts of sax, smokey beats, and vocals that kind of feel like Nick Cave meets Tom Jones. A cool and interesting record. The US pressing is spotty, there is noise throughout but it's often invisible due to the music levels, or the noisy samples used here and there-- like Side 2 track 2 for example.

When record labels hide the name of the presser from their customers they do it for the same reason that they will add a hype stick when they have something pressed by a credible source-- like Pallas, Optimal, QRP, etc. When it's United or Rainbo they usually stay quiet-- they know they've hired a company that will most likely deliver an inferior product. There are no excuses for shitty quality vinyl records given their price. My advice- send them back and ask for a decent copy. If the second copy is awful, try a third time. If that one sucks they're most likely all that way to one degree or another. At least the returns will impact the mindset of the labels and perhaps the pressers. Accept inferior quality and they'll think you just don't care-- then you can expect more of the same.

Great sound, but man what terribly noisy wax the music is pressed on. Super disappointing

Copy sounds really nice but it is quite noisy, especially on side 2. Probably needs a cleaning. Anyway, the bass is awesome. Weird album.
