© 2004 Klaus Schulze ("Objet d'Louis") under exclusive license to SPV GmbH.

This re-release of a classic Klaus Schulze album has some little differences from the formerly available CD version. The former CD of "X." was altered in sound (not to everybody's delight) and some tracks were a bit shorter as on the original vinyl album.
We have added a remarkable version of "Ludwig", played and recorded live in concert in September 1978 during a show by KS who was accompanied by a classical orchestra of young people. This orchestra had very little time for rehearsal.

Great release, sounds much better than my vinyl copy. Pleased to find it for £1.50 in a charity shop.... along with a CD of Mirage.
X consists of six long drone-outs mit orchestra... plus a bonus track featuring a youth orchestra. I've been listening to a lot of classical music recently- which has dulled my appreciation of a lot of electronic / rock music ... seems much too linear. But this album really holds my attention.
