The Jamaican dub-house of STUPID JACK gets remixed here, with Kingmeat offers up a dancehall rhythm, while the Trouble Men amp up the beats for a full-on house assault. DJ Vas, with his "My Sweet Loly Remix" mix, takes the tempo way down to a hip-hop skank, and Grant Phabao goes all out with his dub-drenched "Ruffneck Skiank Remix." Pretty solid.

"To attack without knowing the enemy's strength is foolish, and after being warned, to still attack is stupid. People who are that stupid just don't deserve to live, but strangely thought, one does find, people who are that stupid!".
This sample, taken from the classic Kung Fu movie 'One Armed Swordsmen', was previously used by The Chemist in 'Ruff Cutz' (1997), and much later by rap artist Royce Da 5'9" in 'Right Back' (2005).
I remember I bought this single second hand for a very small price and I loved it. The dub versions are as much pleasant as the House remix by The Trouble Men.
I never knew what the lyrics were about exactly. The video of 'Stupid Jack' follow a man falling in a neverending staircase, and another sample taken from 'One Armed Swordsmen' concludes the track ('Today you are gonna die!'). I suppose it's about the fatality of certain practices and/or behaviours.
