DeWalta's Meander imprint has been particularly impressive in recent times, with hot releases from the creme de la creme in minimal techno. Celebrating a decade in the business, the label presents the third edition of Family Jubilee which features a reinvigorated Konrad Black. The Canadian is creating some his best music in years, as heard on the PAN-ish experimental bass of "Snake Charmers" where he's still pursuing a similar style to that of his Scorched Earth EP which appeared on the label back in 2015. New York City tech house hero (and one-third of Soundwalk Collective) Kamran Sadeghi presents the slinky groove of "Amber Alert" that is full of the same hypnotic polyrhythms as heard on his Astral Body EP for label last year. DeWalta himself gives us the eerie minimal futurism of "Pin Tweaks" which is a perfect closer for this fine EP. Review from Juno.co.uk
