eight years on i heard some classic hip hop tunes and found that "into the stars" is based on a vocal sample from "passing me by" by the pharcyde.

"Forever You" is a killer modern offbeat afro-garage tune that would sound like a "now" answer to Azari & III's mighty retrofuturistic proto 90s garage homage "Reckless With Your Love" from 2009.
Here a bouncin afro syncopation and the same kind of twisted down garagey voice are backed with modern synth whirlwind and deliver an irresistible and fresh party vibe that sounds like a summary of dancefloor crossover modernity. And with its slightly cheesy "hybrid pop" format, this one has a chance to reach hit-single status. Uplifting!
(And "Do You Remember", very sadly available only in digital EP format, is another killa, reminiscent of Loosefingers' "What Is House?" or some demented Roland Clark number, where a possessed MC harangues about the usual "back in da early days of house" era with devilish fever and fervour over bouncing acid tribal beats, fucking sweaty that one).
