This is a kind of Old School Jazz which absorbs Neo Classical, Ragtime, Polyrhythms and even a mild dose of Ethnic music into it's overall sound. There's also some Reggae, Country 'n' Western and a decent sense of light humour in there which makes this sound ever changing and cosmopolitan. The music is faultless and bright, with some blisteringly clever guitar work which wins over even someone as unappreciative of this musical area as myself. It can be as quick, busy and complex as an ant colony, or soft, gentle and reflective as a rainy Spring day. This is an easy listening background music, technically proficient and very, very clever.
