Agree

Hearts - Impossible to master that eerie ghostly sound creations etc and at 1.50 and through the rest of the track - A true blue homage to the after life

I have listened to over and owned over 10000 tracks and this surpasses everything even but except V2 - maybe the most hardcore of acid ;)

Another track - Goodbye my old friend RIP :)

A real tribute to you in my mind :)

V2 is a genius masterpiece that should be in the halls of musical history but we never did really appreciate it did we ;) or did E that break at 4.03 - one day in another life matey :)

I'll find some more tracks to reminisce soon :)

Dissapointed CD only has V1

Without a doubt this is a Trance classic but just like Weareonenation303 pointed out, it's kind of overrated. Also, words like "best track ever", "way ahead of its time" etc are nothing special anymore, if one can find them under hundreds of releases in discogs. Also, I don't know what the Tech Trance tag is all about, as one can hardly find it unlike it's some Oliver Lieb production. Funnily, the tracks sound like some sort of blueprint for the (overall average or shitty) Hard Trance stuff that had yet to come after 1994. It already has those special "eerie" sounds and synth stabs (you know, the ones that were so overused years later) and not the laid back / ambient sound of most Trance tracks up to this point in history. But don't get me wrong, the production here is on spot and aged very well.

Lieb's Blueprint has sounds of electronic music in its most original form. Before the commercial trance explosion of the late 90s, before the y2k panic, before many of us knew what Windows was, there was Trance.Acid.Techno. This was the pre-Tiesto era. I just can't get words to describe this track. I was 8 then. When I was first heard this track, I almost had Out-of-body experience. Germany, some warehouse and people hypnotized by this divine music. That's what comes to my mind. Long live the trance of early 90s.

13 reviews at the time I am writing mine. This shows how serious & beloved this material is. Oliver Lieb is one of the most iconic trance producer that ever lived, and all his science works at its finest in this EP. Hearts is a (well named) heartbraking tune with a distorted line and a melancholic arp evolvng, both crying all the sorrow you could feel inside yourself. Then there's Blueprint, where I prefer the V2, that adds even more depth, tension & mystery before launching its amazing gated synths and this famous little melody. It's unbelievable how perfect the sounds are, both on the muscicality/harmony and mixing/mastering. This is from 1994 and it could be released in 2020 that it couldn't sound better. Real trance with serious feelings. Perfection. To be studied and praised, this is a reference work !

The fact that Blueprint tracks were released in 1994 is beyond me. Way ahead of its time. I was only 6... I was born in a wrong decade...

Fortunately, everyone has their own opinion. The entire L.S.G. - Blueprint E. P. was far ahead of his time. Timeless and harmony in 1994 was probably having the best year of musical genres. The perfection in flight the space and time to forget simply brilliant. The Producer "Oliver Lieb" is one of 5 musicians that have marked this period. Overrated is the Blueprint E. P. already not at all. Who has something claiming not understood the message of the sounds.

Sounds pretty overrated to me. "Hearts" is nothing special. "Blueprint" is good, but not great. People tend to overrate stuff when it's made by better known people, it's a fact people. Just go check releases made by people like Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Mr. Fingers etc etc. Their music is massively overrated and overhyped. My two cents.

The high praise offered by my fellow oggers below is not mere hyperbole; this really is one of the best tracks ever created. Hearts, that is. It's perfect, a masterpiece.
