This has to be one of my all time favourite Lab 4 tracks, I have the a copy of the original Elementary release and of the white label repress.

The kick in this track instantly makes me want to dance around like Mark EG, it's that hard, and is paired with a low key bassline right from the word go. There is a quick build shortly after the start of the tune which rises to call of (something like): "new dark music, set your soul on fire," and then kicks in with a sharp resonance filtered acid riff. This chugs away with exciting fills and counter melodies until a breakdown of sorts, but its used for an all out display of said acid sweeps, that could be described as a laser show for the ears.

The only disappointment that I have with this track is that i isn't very DJ friendly, and as such doesn't really have any sort of lead out groove, instead it abruptly ceases, with the majority of the elements continuing until this point, when the "set your soul on fire" sample reverberantly decays out. However this is a stomping track and was only really intended to be played by the lads live, and when done so works perfectly.

I first heard this track when my brother introduced me to this act with their Evilution album. The live disc that comes free in this album is the best set I've heard them play. I've seen them live all over Europe about 30 times (between 2000 and the end of 2006) and I've even played a warm up set for them in Bristol and I still think that it's their best set.
