This release will always hold special significance for me. I will never forget when I first heard the Lab-4 original at a hard-trance party in late 1997. Put simply, I was blown away. WHAT an unbelievable tune! A wicked, driving bass line joins a rhythmic acid groove and a handful of dissonant noises to guide you toward insanity, almost like the track is careening downhill with no brakes. But that's OK, because you want to make this descent. Indeed, when the main "melody" synth starts churning during the breakdown, you suddenly realize what lies ahead.

Or at least you THINK you do; but then, BOOM, the track storms to life again, faster and crazier than you ever imagined. Get on the dancefloor, get near a speaker, and rock the f#ck out. Damn, what a tune.

The Liberator mix is interesting, too, but it's definitely the "B-side" on this record.

best tune imo out of laboratory 4 pure rush material insane break building all the way thru the main break comes in faster after that so need to watch the beats dj wise played to best effect by the m zone @ hs time 97 with sharkey on the M I C

Yes this is a classic of hardtrance style. A very progressive come up, the most fantastic break i have ever heard and when it starts understand what hardtrance means. Be careful, after the break the track starts faster, around 8 % of pitch.

This is a tune that i just cant get enough of, it keeps you on a high for the entire 9 minute journey it takes you on. I suggest sitting back, closing your eyes and jiggling your head and calf muscles and letting the evil samples send shivvers down your spine...mmmm

This is an awesome tune, very loud and proud and in yer face. Needs to be played VERY loud.

I love this tune and its even better when heard live.
