If you keep asking yourselves who Laibach are, what they want and what they mean, just listen to "Perspektive". It's their manifesto, spoken and explained in English. Everything you need to know is there, and still today valid, over 30 years later.

From the times when industrial had soul and was still an underground cultural movement with tremendous potential. Det som en gang var.

Industrial masterpiece!
1989 cd version.A collection from the Early years of Laibach.

Rekapitulacija CD:
Most of the lyrics are in Slovenian language ,
track number 20 has lyrics in English - the text expresses the band's political philosophy in those years.

The philosophy of Laibach expresses in a fascinating way:

Effects of industrial machinery ,various drum programming,
,Dramatic speeches and poetry filled with anger and despair, gloomy electronic sounds.

Screaming and reading of speeches through a megaphone, heavy guitar bass,
,there are passages on the music with Rhythm of military parade .

You can hear influences of the German composer-Karlheinz Stockhausen -especially on the track-Dokumenti.

This is really awesome early Laibach, Resekcija (Resektion) is worth the price of admission, at least for me. Sredi Bojev (Inmitten Von Kämpfen) is a track I've heard before, but not as heavy as this one. It kicks, clangs, thumps and throbs. This material is similar to the first Laibach vinyl I picked up on a whim back in 1986, Boji / Sila / Brat Moj, worth every penny of its $5.99 price tag.

Fans of early SPK such as Auto Da Fe, Information Overload Unit and Leichenshrei would probably dig this collection if they missed it the first time around. Dark noisy suffocating industrial at its finest!

I realize this review is incomplete, but this release deserves a partial review at the very least.
