Finally, after having listened this album two of three times, I conclude that "International" is superb. This release from the British producer Laidback came out in 1997, at the time when electronic music was at its peak in the United Kingdom.
Except the title track and "Wrecktify", all songs here are highlights (especially "Album Tracking", "Coldrock", "Hip-Hop Loves You" and "Go Off").
I think the electronic styles mentioned up there are wrong, since the main one used is breakbeat.
To sum up, "International" is a CD which can be used as background music or during a fest and where one or two listenings may be necessary for some persons (like me). To be honest, I wasn't satisfied at the first time, nevertheless this album has grown on me since then.
In addition to "International", I suggest you two other breakbeat albums which are on the same record label as "International", namely Bolshi Records :
- Rasmus : Mass Hysteria (1998)
- LHB : Dig, You May Find A Friend (1999)
Have fun !
