No doubt Lana Del Rey looks quite irritatingly like a living marketing plan, but on a musical perspective this single lives up to its announcements : yes this is exactly the 'white trash Nancy Sinatra' that was expected (and honestly, almost at the same aesthetic and performer level as the original), and yes the two songs featured here (especially "Video Games") are quality emotional and tragic pop ballads in a dramatic, post-Kennedy 60s way.
