In the middle of the generally predictable 'deep/soulful house' Central Park catalogue comes this unsuspected gem. I'm talking here about the original "Nice To See You", a quite surprising hybrid space dub-house love song, where Pal Joey reveals as a singer through a quite deep and caressing warm voice, with hypnotic bassline and a beautiful unexpected strings explosion.
Hard to describe but very elegant yet danceable, ideal to oxygenate and close a contemporary techno or house set at the 1st sun rays, this one made my day especially as it went under my radar for practically ten years. Tip!
