From 1997, this Lp is a clear "connecting component " linking several diverse strands of music; italo, 80s dance sound, electro, and detroit techno. Before the wave of electro clash hit, this sound sorta sat in the uncategorized shelf of most folks. Ersatz Audio was rediscovering the sound of acts like Visage, John Fox, Gary Numan, Human League and others, with an updated touch circa mid 90's. Between 96 and the year 2000 LeCar released 4 Eps along with this album, documenting an exciting time where a new breed of music was brewing underground worldwide; not quite new wave, not quite disco, and not quite "robot apocalypse style electro " (think Ultradyne) -- none of those but a hybrid of all that.
