Original Atlantic recording (made July-August at various locations), pressed/manufactured & distributed under license in the UK by Polydor Records Limited and utilizing the Polydor catalog# series for the UK.

This recording has "Whole Lotta Love" (A1), "The Lemon Song" (A3) & "Bring It On Home" (B5) credited to band members. These four elements had credit changes effected on later issues, together with a retitling of tracks A3 & B2.

No track timings are given.

Gatefold unlaminated cover (light brown) No "Stereo" print on front. Inside cover track list has 'Maid' replacing 'Wreck' for title of B2 on label. Note also the phrase "She's A Woman" later becomes "She's Just A Woman" on subsequent releases. (See images, which includes bonus photo of original 'Jasta Division' pilots).

First Cat# on label.
Second Cat# on inside sleeve and spine.

NOTE: The [ ] which follow the A 2 abd B 2 matrices attributed above to the matrix # are in fact both '1s' with a 'signal' line from the top the first is backwards. This is frequently used and is possibly a cutters signature (in the same way as Pecko Duck, Porky, Arun and other 'signatures).
It is used on Zep 4 run outbut the first 1 is correct and the 2nd is backwards

I have to be brutally honest, maybe Rudy van Gelder should have recorded. The music is transcendent but the recording is amateur.

Got one with German cover, Atlantic 40 037 (SD 8236) But the label is NCB, which usually means Scandinavian pressing. Not to be found on Discogs.

And (P) + (C) 1968 Atlantic Recording Corporation( in this, year is very inresting detail!!!???)
Made in Germany by Wea Musik GmbH. When this is made?

This could be one of the first real Metal albums ever, you just gotta look real into it.
