This is members of the Stan Kenton orchestra in Paris. But it is Lee all the way plus the occasional guitar solo, piano intro or drum break. There must be a story behind this session. The penultimate track breaks off in mid-flight and when the music returns there is no pianist! Was M. Renaud overcome by the calvados and sense of occasion? Who knows?
