This album is a grate example of the chages made from the 70s to the 80s using synths, but staying true to the way of righting songs. I can't help but imagine, that this is what Steely Dan would sound like if they had released any full length albums in the mid 80s. In fact this album doce share many similarities with Donald Fagen's "Kamakiriad" . There's some grate use of the Electric and acoustic guitar in here in all different stiles, mostly being jazz and Latin. Grate time chages and lots of percussion used with some grate polyrhythms, specially in the song "Earth Run" . Unfortunately it doce suffer from the typical midi, synth, 80s sound, which has made it age badly. However the song righting is good and there's some brilliant songs on the album. If your looking for some modern jazz guitar that has a Latin soul twist to it, this could be right down your street.
